Traffic Arrests-
On 6/26/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle on Sheridan Road for
speeding. The driver, Carlos M. Torres-Ortiz, 33, of Zion was
arrested for DUI. Torres-Ortiz was cited for speeding, uninsured
vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol, DUI, and DUI over
.08. Torres-Ortiz was later released on a personal recognizance
bond and given a future court date.
On 6/27/07, an
Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Sheridan Road
for speeding. The driver, Anthony D. O'Bryant, 23, of Waukegan
was arrested for DUI. O'Bryant was cited for speeding, DUI, DUI
over .08, illegal transportation of alcohol, and no seat belt.
O'Bryant was later released on a personal recognizance bond and
given a future court date.
Warrant Arrest-
On 6/27/07, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth
stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Delany Road for speeding.
The driver, Thomas C. Lucas, 53, of Kenosha was arrested for
an outstanding warrant for failing to appear on a DUI charge.
Lucas was cited for speeding, improper display of registration,
and driving with a suspended license. Lucas was later transported
to the Lake County Jail for the warrant.
