July 17, 2007: Arrest Notices 7/12/07 - 7/13/07

Traffic Arrests- On 7/12/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1700 block of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, De Myron A. Wiley, 25, of Chicago was arrested for DUI. The passenger of the vehicle, Carmen E. Tackett, 27, of Zion was also arrested for possession of cannabis. Wiley was cited for DUI, improper lane usage, driving with a suspended license, uninsured vehicle, and no rear registration light. Tackett was cited for possession of cannabis. Both Wiley and Tackett were later released on a personal recognizance bond and given future court dates. On 7/13/07, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped a vehicle on Route 173 just East of Highway 41 for improper overtaking on the right shoulder. The driver, Jose Moreno, 31, of Zion was arrested for an outstanding warrant. The warrant was through the Cook County Sheriff's Department for burglary. Moreno was cited for improper overtaking on right shoulder, loud exhaust, and no valid driver's license. Moreno was later transported to the Lake County Jail for the warrant.
