Traffic Arrest-
On 8/21/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of
Sheridan Road for speeding. The passenger of the vehicle, Gina
L. Bentivegna, 36, of Gurnee was arrested for unlawful possession
of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bentivegna was later transported to the Lake County Jail for
Bond Court.
Warrant Arrests-
On 8/22/07, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth
stopped a vehicle at Delany Road and Russell Road for speeding.
The driver, Monte F. Cornelius, 33, of Antioch was arrested for
driving while his license was revoked. Cornelius also had an
active warrant out for his arrest for failing to appear on a
resisting a police officer charge. Cornelius was later transported
to the Lake County Jail for the warrant.
On 8/25/07, Officer's
responded to the 1100 block of Sheridan Road after receiving
information someone had an active warrant for their arrest at
this location. Upon the Officer's arrival they came in contact
with, Michael R. Corder, 48, of Winthrop Harbor who was later
arrested. Corder had an active warrant for his arrest for failing
to appear on a retail theft charge. Corder was later transported
to the Lake County Jail for the warrant.
