Traffic Arrests- On 9/26/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Sam D. Wells, 23, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI. Wells was cited for improper lane usage, DUI, DUI over .08, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to use signal when required, and failure to wear seat belt. Wells was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 9/28/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Sheridan Road for no rear registration light. The driver, Larry T. Wenzel, 47, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Wenzel was cited for no rear registration light, failure to use signal when required, and driving with a suspended license. Wenzel was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 9/29/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of Lewis Avenue for improper lane usage. The driver, Max A. Cohen, 49, of Pleasant Prairie was arrested for DUI. Cohen was cited for DUI, DUI over .08, and improper lane usage. Cohen was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 9/29/07, an
Officer stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Washington Avenue
for speeding. The driver, Norma Mendoza, 25, of Winthrop Harbor
was arrested for having no valid driver's license. Mendoza was
cited for speeding and no valid driver's license. Mendoza was
later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future
court date. |
