November 7, 2007: Arrest Notices 10/30/07 - 11/4/07

Traffic Arrests- On 10/30/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Lewis Avenue. The driver, William F. Todzy, 63, of Zion was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Todzy was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 10/31/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Thomas M. Morley, 27, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested for DUI. Morley was cited for improper lane usage, obstructed rear plate, and DUI. Morley was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 11/2/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle at Kenosha Road and Russell Road for no rear registration light. The driver, Demeatrice A. Wilcox, 25, of North Chicago was arrested for DUI. Wilcox was cited for no rear registration light, suspended registration, endangering the life of child (4) counts, child not properly secured in a child safety seat (2) counts, DUI, and DUI over .08. Wilcox was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 11/2/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Lewis Avenue for no rear registration light. The driver, Nicole D. Holmes, 27, of Kenosha was arrested for driving while her license was suspended. Holmes was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 11/3/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Lewis Avenue for improper lane usage. The driver, Douglas L. Schaffer, 39, of Rockford was arrested for aggravated DUI. Schaffer was cited for improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, uninsured vehicle, driving while license revoked (Felony Enhanced), and aggravated DUI. Schaffer was later transported to the Lake County Jail for Bond Court. On 11/4/07, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of Lewis Avenue for improper lane usage. The driver, Jordan S. Jackola, 20, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI. Jackola was cited for improper lane usage, driving with a suspended license, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, DUI, and DUI over .08. Jackola was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. Warrant Arrests- On 11/2/07, Officer's were dispatched to the 1000 block of Sheridan Road for a 9-1-1 call. Upon the Officer's arrival they came in contact with, Elijah McAlister, 35, of Winthrop Harbor. McAlister was later arrested for an outstanding warrant for strong armed robbery though Wisconsin. McAlister was later transported to the Lake County Jail for the warrant. On 11/3/07, an
Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Fulton Avenue
for a stop sign violation. The driver, Justin F. Myers, 24, of
Winthrop Harbor was arrested for an outstanding warrant for a
probation violation. The warrant was though the McHenry County
Sheriff's Department. Myers was cited for disobeying a stop sign
and driving with a suspended license. Myers was later transported
to the Lake County Jail for the warrant. |
