Traffic Arrests- On 1/7/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 2nd Street and Sheridan Road for suspended registration. The driver, John M. Kyritsis, 55, of Kenosha was arrested for driving while his license was suspended. Kyritsis was cited for suspended registration, driving with a suspended license, and possession of a controlled substance. Kyritsis was later transported to the Lake County Jail for Bond Court. On 1/8/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Whitney Avenue for speeding. The driver, May I. Sauer, 25, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI. Sauer was cited for speeding, DUI, and DUI over .08. Sauer was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/10/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of Lewis Avenue for a broken taillight. The driver, Mayra E. Menjivar, 25, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI. Menjivar was cited for the broken taillight, DUI, and DUI over .08. Menjivar was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/11/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1800 block of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Brandon L. Barnes, 18, of Zion was arrested for DUI. Barnes was cited for improper lane usage, DUI, unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of fireworks. Barnes was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/11/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 11th Street just West of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, James K. Thiele, 48, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI. Thiele was cited for improper lane usage and DUI. Thiele was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/12/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of Lewis Avenue for improper lane usage. The driver, Danielle M. Sticha, 24, of Gurnee was arrested for DUI. Sticha was cited for improper lane usage, DUI, and DUI over .08. Sticha was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/12/08, an
Officer stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Lewis Avenue for
improper lane usage. The driver, Javier Arias-Cruz, 25, of Zion
was arrested for DUI. Arias-Cruz was cited for improper lane
usage, failure to notify Secretary of State Office with change
of address, DUI, and DUI over .08. Arias-Cruz was later released
on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. |
