Traffic Arrests- On 1/17/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Lewis Avenue for improper lane usage. The driver, Reginold Maddox, 45, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI. Maddox was cited for improper lane usage, DUI, driving while his license was revoked, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Maddox was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/17/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Sheridan Road after the driver of the vehicle struck a light pole. The driver, Kenneth D. Pate, 28, of Pleasant Prairie was arrested for DUI. Pate was cited for DUI, uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving in the wrong lane, and reckless driving. Pate was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/18/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of Lewis Avenue for no taillights. The driver, Miguel A. Garcia-Villalobos, 24, of Kenosha was arrested for driving while his license was suspended. Garcia-Villalobos was cited for having no taillights, driving with a suspended license, and uninsured vehicle. Garcia-Villalobos was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/18/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 17th Street and Sheridan Road for having no front license plate. The driver, George Hernandez, 40, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Hernandez was cited for no front plate, driving with a revoked license, and uninsured vehicle. Hernandez was later released on a personal recognizance bond a given a future court date. On 1/18/08, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped a vehicle at Kilbourne and Kazmer for speeding. The driver, Kristal R. Harmon, 24, of Waukegan was arrested for driving while her license was suspended. Harmon was cited for speeding, uninsured vehicle, and driving while her license was suspended. Harmon was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 1/18/08, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped a vehicle at Delany Road and 9th Street for expired registration. The driver, Mark A. Benavidez, 43, of Kenosha was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Benavidez was cited for expired registration and driving while his license was revoked.
