PRESS RELEASE


February 11, 2008: Arrest Notices 2/4/08- 2/8/08

Traffic Arrests-
On 2/4/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 2000 block of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Kelly J. Massimo, 31, of Zion was arrested for DUI. Massimo was cited for a muffler violation, no valid insurance, and DUI. Massimo was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 2/4/08, Officer's were dispatched to 1st Street and Sheridan Road for a report of an accident. Upon the Officer's arrival, Jessica N. James, 29, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI. James was cited for disobeying a stop sign, DUI, and DUI over .08. James was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 2/8/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Dagoberto C. Rodriguez, 24, of Zion was arrested for DUI. Rodriguez was cited for improper lane usage, unlawful possession of fireworks, and DUI. Rodriguez was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

Domestic Battery Arrest-

On 2/6/08, Officer's were dispatched to the 1000 block of Landon Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon the Officer's arrival, Michael P. Veneigh, 47, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested for domestic battery. Veneigh was charged with domestic battery (felony enhanced) and was later transported to the Lake County Jail for Bond Court.

Warrant Arrest-

On 2/8/08, Officer's were dispatched to the 900 block of Sheridan Road for a report of a truant juvenile. Upon the Officer's arrival, Carla L. Oglesby, 33, of Kenosha was arrested for an outstanding warrant though Wisconsin's Department of Corrections. The warrant was for a parole violation. Oglesby was later transported to the Lake County Jail for the warrant.
