July 14, 2008: Arrest Notices 7/9/08- 7/12/08

Traffic Arrests- On 7/10/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Sheridan Road for a burnt out registration light. The driver, Ronald E. Munroe, 28, of Burlington was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Munroe was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 7/12/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Sheridan Road for driving without headlights when required. The driver, Jerome R. Phillips, 30, of Zion was arrested for driving while his license was suspended. Phillips was also cited for a burnt out taillight, wearing no seal belt, and driving an uninsured vehicle. Phillip was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 7/12/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at Sheridan Road and 9th Street for improper lane usage. The driver, Hector Vergara-Abundez, 38, of Zion was arrested for DUI. Vergara-Abundez was also cited for driving while his license was revoked and obstructing a Police Officer. Vergara-Abundez was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. |
