PRESS RELEASE


September 8, 2008: Arrest Notices 9/5/08- 9/7/08

Traffic Arrests-
On 9/5/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of Sheridan Road. The driver, Glen A. Feely, 53, of Kenosha was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Feely was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 9/6/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Kenosha Road for disobeying a stop sign. The driver, Jasen R. Bucar, 29, of Zion was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Bucar was also cited for suspended registration. Bucar was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 9/7/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle on Sheridan Road and 13th Street for improper lane usage. The driver, Todd J. Artac, 46, of Pleasant Prairie was arrested for DUI. Artac was charged with a felony since it was his third offense. Artac was later transported to the Lake County Jail for Bond Court.

On 9/7/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of South Park for improper lane usage. The driver, Anthony R. Duty, 23, of Zion was arrested for DUI. The passenger of the vehicle, August H. Zilisch, 22, of Winthrop Harbor was also arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis. Duty was also cited for DUI over .08, and failure to notify the Secretary of State of a change of address. Duty and Zilisch were later released on a personal recognizance bonds and given future court dates.

Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer Arrest-
On 9/6/08, Officer's were dispatched to the 1000 block of Landon Avenue for a report of a fight in progress. When Officer's arrived on scene contact was made with, Brittany A. Farmer, 21, of Winthrop Harbor. Farmer was later arrested after she failed to cooperate with police. Farmer was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting a police officer, and public intoxication. Farmer was later transported to the Lake County Jail for Bond Court.
