PRESS RELEASE
October 8, 2008: Arrest Notices 10/1/08 - 10/3/08

Traffic Arrests-
On 10/1/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Sheridan Road for expired registration. The driver, Jose A. Cornilio, 33, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Cornilio was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 10/3/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Norris Culver, 46, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI (felony enhanced). Culver was also cited for driving while his license was revoked (felony enhanced). Culver was later transported to the Lake County jail for Bond Court.

Warrant Arrest-
On 10/3/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle on Lewis Avenue for a defective muffler. The driver, Francisco J. Ventura, 30, of Racine was arrest for an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was through the Lake Count Sheriff's Department for obstructing justice. Ventura was later transported to the Lake County Jail for the warrant.
