October 22, 2008: Arrest Notices 10/13/08- 10/19/08

Traffic Arrests- On 10/14/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1900 block of Lewis Avenue for obstructed view. The driver, Felix Atempa-Saldivar, 24, of Zion was arrested for having no valid driver's license. Atempa-Saldivar was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 10/15/08, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Delany Road for speeding. The driver, Jose A. Cruz-Amayo, 31, of Racine was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Cruz-Amayo was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 10/16/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Sheridan Road for expired registration. The driver, Sharon A. Root, 32, of Kenosha was arrested for driving while her license was revoked. Root was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. On 10/17/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1400 block of Lewis Avenue for improper lane usage. The driver, Joshua J. Elder, 24, of Zion was arrested for driving while his license was suspended. Elder was later released on a personal recognizance bond given a future court date. On 10/19/08,
an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped
a vehicle at Magnetics Road and Wadsworth Road for speeding.
The driver, Salvador Serna, 36, of Waukegan was arrested for
driving while his license was revoked. Serna was later released
on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.
