PRESS RELEASE


November 10, 2008: Arrest Notices 10/27/08 - 11/5/08

Traffic Arrests-
On 10/27/08, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped a vehicle at Highway 41 and Route 173 for suspended registration. The driver, Charles E. Thigpen, 44, of Milwaukee was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Thigpen was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 10/27/08, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped a vehicle at Delany Road and Route 173 for speeding. The driver, Marcelo T. Hernandez, 38, of Kenosha was arrested for having no valid driver's license. Hernandez was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 10/27/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of Sheridan Road for speeding. The driver, Angel Herrera-Calderone, 49, of Pleasant Prairie was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Herrera-Calderone was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 10/31/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1400 block of Sheridan Road for tinted windows. The driver, Bradley R. Stone, 20, of Beach Park was arrested for DUI. Stone was also cited for DUI over .08 and unlawful possession of cannabis. Stone was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 10/31/08, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped a vehicle at Wadsworth Road and Highway 41 for speeding. The driver, Wilmer R. Escobar, 33, of Kenosha was arrested for having no valid driver's license. Escobar was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 11/2/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Sheridan Road for improper use of registration. The driver, Jamie N. Earl, 22, of Kenosha was arrested for DUI. Earl was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and resisting a police officer. Earl was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 11/2/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of Sheridan Road for suspended registration. The driver, Carmelo Delgago-Flores, 36, of Kenosha was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Delgago-Flores was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 11/4/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Sheridan Road for loud exhaust. The driver, Nikita K. Bannister, 18, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested for driving while her license was revoked. Bannister was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

Warrant Arrests-
On 10/29/08, an Officer while working contracted services in Wadsworth stopped a vehicle at Delany Road and Russell Road for speeding. The driver, Kimberly L. Struck, 44, of Elkhorn was arrested for an outstanding warrant through the McHenry County Sheriffs Department. The warrant was for obstruction of justice. Struck was later transported to the Lake County Jail for the warrant.

On 11/5/08, Officers arrested, Roger D. Wilson, 39, of Winthrop Harbor in the 1100 block of
South Park Avenue for an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for court. The warrant was issued through the Lake County Sheriffs Department. Wilson was later transported to the Lake County Jail for the warrant.

Drug Arrests-
On 10/30/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at 9th Street and Charles Avenue for a brunt out registration light. The driver, Lyndsay M. Rou, 23, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis. The passenger, Reginald R. Jackola, 17, of Winthrop Harbor was also arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver, unlawful possession of cannabis, curfew, and unlawful possession of tobacco by a minor. Rou was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date. Jackola was later transported to the Lake County Jail and was being held on a $10,000 bond.

On 10/31/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle at North Park and Sheridan Road for a brunt registration light. The driver, Shelley L. Stich, 32, of Kenosha was arrested for attempted possession of a controlled substance. The passenger of the vehicle, Stephanie E. Ruhle, 24, of Kenosha was also arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Stich and Ruhle were later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court dates.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest-
On 11/4/08, Officers responded to the 1300 block of Sheridan Road for a report of a disorderly person. A short time later Officers arrested, Gheorghe C. Mos, 50, of Winthrop Harbor. Mos allegedly made some inappropriate comments to some neighborhood children. Mos was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.
