December 3, 2008: Arrest Notices 11/27/08 - 11/30/08

Traffic Arrest-
On 11/27/08, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Sheridan Road for failing use their turn signal. The driver, Andremeo R. Williams, 30, of Waukegan was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Williams was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

Criminal Damage to State Supported Property Arrests-
On 11/29/08, an Officer attempted to stop a vehicle in the 1400 block of Sheridan Road for a registration violation. The vehicle finally stopped in the 1700 block of Sheridan Road where the Officer made contact with the driver. The driver, Katie H. Wilson, 19, of Waukegan was being taken into custody for DUI when her sister, Alishia D Wilson, 26, also from Waukegan attempted to free her sister from police custody. Additional police officers were called to the scene and Katie and Alishia were eventually taken into custody and secured in separate squad cars. Katie and Alishia then both proceeded to kick and bang their heads against the squad car's windows. This resulted in causing damage to the squad car doors and one of the squad car's windows was also broken out. Katie was cited for criminal damage to state supported property, resisting a police officer, and DUI. Alishia was cited for criminal damage to state supported property and resisting a police officer. Katie and Alishia were both later transported to the Lake County Jail for Bond Court.

Domestic Battery Arrest-
On 11/30/08, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Geddes Avenue for a report of a domestic battery. Upon the Officers arrival, Heather M. Gahagan, 22, of Winthrop Harbor was arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Gahagan went to her ex-boyfriend's home and broke in his front door. Gahagan then proceeded to strike her ex-boyfriend with a baseball bat. Gahagan was later transported to the Lake County Jail for Bond Court where she was held on a $10,000 cash bond.
