PRESS RELEASE
January 24, 2009: Arrest Notices 1/20/09 - 1/23/09

Traffic Arrest-
On 1/20/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Sheridan Road for no rear registration light. The driver, Kevin M. Sawyer, 39, of Waukegan was arrested for driving while his license was revoked. Sawyer was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and unlawful possession of cannabis. Sawyer was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

On 1/23/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle on 11th street and Sheridan Road for a seat belt violation. The driver, Eric A. Payette, 19, of Burlington was arrested for having no driver's license. Payette was later released on a personal recognizance bond and given a future court date.

Domestic Battery Arrest-
On 1/22/09, Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of 7th Street for a report of a domestic battery. Upon there arrival they arrested, Sheena M. Varner, 20, of Winthrop Harbor. Varner was cited for domestic battery and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Varner was later transported to the Lake County Jail for Bond Court.
