February 21, 2009: Arrest Notice 2/18/09

Robbery, Criminal Sexual Abuse, and Domestic Battery Arrests: On January 11, 2009 officers took a report of a Robbery, Sexual Assault, and Domestic Battery complaint that occurred at a local hotel in Winthrop Harbor. After further investigation, detectives reviewed the facts of this case with the Lake County States Attorney's Office and a warrant was issued for Devon T. Williams, 22, and Shanta R. Williams, 23. After above listed
subjects were subsequently taken into Custody for an active Lake
County Arrest Warrant, detectives conducted post Miranda interviews.
Subjects were additionally charged as follows: Devon T. Williams
was charged with Robbery (Class 2 Felony), Criminal Sexual Abuse
(Class 4 Felony), and Domestic Battery (Class A. Mis). Shanta
R. Williams was charged with Robbery (Class 2 Felony). Shanta
R. Williams and Devon T. Williams were later transported to the
Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing. |
