Traffic Arrests: On 05/19/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 1000 block of Sheridan Road for Failure to Display a Front Registration Plate. The driver, Joseph M. Stebbins, 23, of Beach Park was subsequently arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. A search of the motor vehicle was conducted and a pair of brass knuckles was located inside the motor vehicle. Stebbins was charged with Failure to Display a Front License Plate, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Stebbins was later released by posting his Illinois Driver's License and a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date. On 05/19/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of Sheridan Road for Speeding. The driver, Edwin E. Valencia, 30, of Beach Park was subsequently arrested for Speeding and Driving While License Revoked. Valencia was later released by a Notice to Appear pending a future court date. On 05/19/09, An Officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Oak Crest Lane and Lewis Avenue for Improper Lane Usage. The driver, Jose Sanchez, 25, of Chicago was subsequently arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Sanchez was charged with Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Sanchez was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date. On 05/21/09, An Officer stopped a vehicle at the 1100 block of Lewis Avenue for a registration violation. The driver, Antjuan L. Duncan, 28, of North Chicago was subsequently arrested for Driving While License Suspended, Failure to Surrender Suspended Registration to Secretary of State, and Operation of Motor Vehicle while Registration Suspended. Duncan was later released by a Notice to Appear pending a future court date. On 05/23/09,
An Officer stopped a vehicle at the 1100 block of Sheridan Road
for Improper Lane Usage. The driver, Raymond Gonzalez, 42, of
North Chicago was subsequently arrested for suspicion of Driving
Under the Influence of Alcohol. Gonzalez was charged with Improper
Lane Usage, Operation of an Uninsured Vehicle, Driving While
License Revoked, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (Felony
Enhanced). Gonzalez was later transported to the Lake County
Jail pending a bond hearing. |
