July 7, 2009: Arrest Notices 7/2/09 - 7/6/09

Traffic Arrests:

On 07/02/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of 9th Street and Sheridan Road for an equipment violation and a seat belt violation. The driver, Joseph P. Hyde, 34, of Kenosha, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety testing. Hyde was charged with Failure to Wear Seatbelt, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over 0.08. Hyde was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date.

On 07/03/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 600 block of Sheridan Road for following too closely. The driver, Joshua M. Guarin, 18, of Waukegan was charged with Following Too Closely, Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Registration Suspended, and Driving While License Suspended. Guarin was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date.

On 07/03/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 1400 block of Sheridan Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Erick L. Johnson, 40, of Waukegan was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety testing. Johnson was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Johnson was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date.

On 07/04/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 100 block of Lewis Avenue for defective exhaust. The driver, Darrin K. Taylor, 25, of Kenosha, Wisconsin was charged with Defective Exhaust and Driving While License Suspended. Taylor was later released by his signature pending a future court date.

On 07/06/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 100 block of Sheridan Road for speeding. The driver, Jeffrey D. Rowell, 36, of Waukegan was charged with Speeding and Driving While License Revoked. Rowell was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date.
