September 9, 2009: Arrest Notices 8/xx/09 - 8/xx/09

Domestic Battery:

On 09/07/09, an Officer was dispatched to 2700 9th Street for a domestic battery in progress. The suspect, Catherine T. Flammini, 22, of Zion was subsequently taken into custody after the officer witnessed Flammini strike a subject in the face with an open hand. After reviewing the facts of this incident with the Lake County States Attorney's Office, Flammini was charged with Domestic Battery. Flammini was later transported to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing.

Traffic Arrests:

On 08/31/09, an Officer received an anonymous complaint of a reckless driver within the 200 block of Sheridan Road. The driver, Kathryn A. Jackson, 55, of Winthrop Harbor was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety testing. Jackson was charged with Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Jackson was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date.

On 09/01/09, an Officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Russell Road and Sheridan Road after the officer knew the driver to have a revoked driver's license from previous contacts. The driver, Hunter O. Beesch, 22, of Winthrop Harbor was subsequently taken into custody. Beesch was charged with Driving While License Revoked. Beesch was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date.

On 09/03/09, an Officer was dispatched near the intersection of Russell Road and Sheridan Road for a property damage accident. The driver, Lisa A. Young, 51, of Pleasant Prairie was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety testing. Young was charged with Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over 0.08. Young was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date.
