January 26, 2010: Arrest Notices 1/17/10 - 1/24/10

Traffic Arrests: On 01/17/10, an Officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of 9th Street and Sheridan Road for a lane violation. The driver, Alfredo Sosa-Morales, 28, of Waukegan was subsequently taken into custody for not having a valid driver's license. Saul Rosendo-Morales, 19, of Waukegan was additionally taken into custody for unlawful consumption of liquor by minor. Sosa-Morales was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Driving While License Suspended, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over 0.08. Rosendo-Morales was charged with Unlawful Consumption of Liquor by Minor. Sosa-Morales and Rosendo-Morales were later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date. On 01/17/2010, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 500 block of Lewis Avenue for not having a front registration plate. The driver, Ridvan S. Ratkoceri, 25, of Skokie was subsequently taken into custody after the officer verified Ridvan had a suspended Colorado Driver's License. During a tow inventory search of Ridvan's vehicle, the officer located shot gun ammunition in the glove compartment. Ridvan was charged with Failure to Display a Front Registration Plate, Improper Use of Registration Plate, Driving While License Suspended, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition Without a Requisite FOID Card. Ridvan was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date. On 01/19/2010, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 100 block of Garnett Avenue for failure to signal when required. The officer ran the registration plate information and learned the vehicle was previously reported stolen from the City of Waukegan. The driver, Carlos H. Castillo, 18, of North Chicago was subsequently taken into custody and charged with Improper Lane Usage and Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. The front seat passenger, Everardo V. Fajardo, 21, of North Chicago was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The additional rear seat passengers, four (4) Juveniles, were also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. On 01/22/2010, an Officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of 5th Street and Whitney Avenue for an equipment violation. The front seat passenger, Shaun E. Lundgren, 39, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after the officer learned he had an active warrant for his arrest. Lundgren was subsequently taken into custody and later transported to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing. On 01/24/2010,
an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 300 block of Sheridan
Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Raymond E. Friederichs,
57 of Winthrop Harbor was subsequently taken into custody after
failing field sobriety testing. Friederichs was charged with
Improper Lane Usage, Operation of an Uninsured Vehicle, and Driving
Under the Influence of Alcohol. Friederichs was later released
by his signature pending a future court date. |
