March 15, 2010: Arrest Notices 3/6/10 - 3/8/10

Criminal Damage to Property / In-State Warrant Arrest:

On 03/08/10, an Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of Lewis Avenue for a criminal damage to property report. After further investigation conducted by the officer, Matthew L. Swanson, 20, of Winthrop Harbor was subsequently taken into custody. The officer further conducted a warrant check and learned Swanson had two active Lake County Arrest Warrants. Swanson was charged with Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by Minor and Criminal Damage to Property. Swanson was later transported to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing for the charges and previous Lake County Arrest Warrants.

Traffic Arrests:

On 03/06/10, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 400 block of Sheridan Road for speeding. The driver, Doryann M. Pirozzi, 21, of Zion was subsequently taken into custody after the officer learned Pirozzi had a suspended Illinois Driver's License. Pirozzi was charged with Speeding, Operation of an Uninsured Vehicle, and Driving While License Suspended. Pirozzi was later released by her signature pending a future court date.

On 03/06/10, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 700 block of Sheridan Road for suspended motor vehicle registration. The driver, Raymond J. Pellegrini, 42, of Kenosha, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after the officer learned Pellegrini had a suspended Illinois Driver's License. The officer further completed a warrant check and learned Pellegrini had an active Lake County Warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on a previous Larceny charge. Pellegrini was charged with Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Improper Use of Motor Vehicle Registration, Failure to Transfer Title, and Driving While License Suspended. Pellegrini was released by the Winthrop Harbor Police Department traffic charges by a Notice to Appear pending a future branch court date. Pellegrini was later transported to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing for the warrant.

On 03/07/10, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 1500 block of Lewis Avenue for improper lane usage. The driver, Patrick Pallesen, 56, of Lake Bluff was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety testing. Pallesen was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over 0.08. Pallesen was later released by an individual bond pending a future court date.
