Traffic Arrests: On 04/09/10, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 600 block of Sheridan Road for failure to signal when required and improper lane usage. The driver, Karen L. Howard, 53, of Kenosha, Wisconsin was subsequently arrested after failing field sobriety testing. Howard was charged with No Front Registration Plate, Failure to Signal When Required, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Obstruction of Justice. Howard was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date. On 04/09/10, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 200 block of Sheridan Road for having only one headlight illuminated. The driver, Mark T. Zawadzki, 21, of Winthrop Harbor was subsequently arrested after the officer verified his Illinois Driver's License was suspended. Zawadzki was charged with Improper Lighting and Driving While License Suspended. Zawadzki was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date. On 04/10/10, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 100 block of Sheridan Road for speeding. The driver, Sharay Johnson, 32, of Waukegan was subsequently taken into custody after the officer verified her driver's license was currently revoked in the state of Illinois. Johnson was charged with Speeding and Driving While License Revoked. Johnson was later released on scene by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date. On 04/12/10,
an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 1000 block of Sheridan
Road for improper lane usage. The driver, Edgar E. Williams,
66, of Chicago was subsequently taken into custody after the
officer verified his Illinois Driver's License was suspended.
Williams was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Operation of Uninsured
Vehicle, and Driving While License Suspended. Williams was later
released by his signature pending a future court date. |
