February 7, 2011: Arrest Notices 2/3/11 - 2/6/11

Traffic Arrests-

On 02/06/11, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 1500 block of Sheridan Road for speeding. The driver, Anthony W. Gray, 48, of Kenosha, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after the Officer verified his driver's license was revoked. Gray was charged with Speeding, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Driving While License Revoked. Gray was later released by a Notice to Appear pending a future court date.

On 02/03/11, an Officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Russell Road and Sheridan Road for obstructed motor vehicle registration. The driver, Marvin L. Evertse, 31, of Kenosha, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody for having an outstanding McHenry County Warrant for Driving While License Suspended. A search of Evertse's person revealed a subsequent seizure of approximately 4.7 grams of purported cocaine. Evertse was subsequently taken into custody. A search of Evertse's motor vehicle resulted in the additional seizure of approximately 151 grams of a substance containing purported cannabis. Evertse was charged with Obstructed Rear Registration Plate, Driving While License Revoked, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Obstructing Justice, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver. Evertse was later transported to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing.

On 02/05/11, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 1200 block of Sheridan Road for an equipment violation. The driver, Joaquin Vera, 28, of Waukegan was charged with No Rear Registration Light, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Driving While License Suspended. A search of the motor vehicle was conducted by the Officer which resulted in the subsequent seizure of approximately 19 grams of purported cannabis. The front seat passenger, Eric L. Nixon, 27, of Waukegan was subsequently taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver. Vera was later released by his signature pending a future court date. Nixon was later transported to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing.
