PRESS RELEASE


February 15, 2011: Arrest Notices 2/8/11 - 2/12/11

Drug Arrest:

On 02/08/2011, an Officer made contact with a suspicious subject near the intersection of 9th Street and Fulton Avenue. The subject, Tyler D.M. Kegley, 23, of Winthrop Harbor was subsequently taken into custody after the Officer located a cannabis smoking pipe within Kegley's possession. Kegley was charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Kegley was later released by his signature pending a future court date.

Traffic Arrests:

On 02/09/2011, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 900 block of Sheridan Road for a registration violation. The driver, Richard McCloud, 58, of Racine, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after the officer verified he had a revoked Illinois drivers license. McCloud was charged with Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Driving While License Revoked. McCloud was later released by a Notice to Appear pending a future court date.

On 02/11/2011, an Officer was dispatched within the 900 block of Sheridan Road for a motorist assist. The driver, Kathleen J. Follak, 48 of Kenosha, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests. Follak was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Speeding Too Fast for Conditions, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over 0.08. Follak was later released by an Individual Bond pending a future court date.

On 02/12/2011, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 1200 block of Sheridan Road for lane and equipment violations. The driver, Frank M.R. Jacquette, 22, of Winthrop Harbor was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety testing. A search was later conducted by the Officer and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia was located inside of the motor vehicle. Jacquette was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Signal When Required, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. Jacquette was later released by a personal recognizance bond pending a future court date.
