July 19, 2011: Arrest Notices 7/14/11 - 7/19/11

Traffic Arrest(s):

On 07/14/2011, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the within the 100 block of Sheridan Road for a lane violation. The driver, Nicole M. Kohlmeyer, 22, of Trevor, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after the Officer confirmed her driver's license was revoked. Kohlmeyer was issued citations for Improper Lane Usage and Driving While License Revoked. Kohlmeyer was later released by her signature pending a branch court date.

On 07/17/2011, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the within the 1600 block of Sheridan Road for a registration violation. The driver, Michael F. Pietras, 47, of Racine, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after the Officer confirmed he had an active arrest warrant from the Lake County Sheriff's Department. Pietras was issued a citation for Operation of Motor Vehicle while Registration Suspended. Pietras was later transported to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing.

Burglary:

On 7/16/2011, an Officer was dispatched within the 3000 block of 9th Street for a Burglary from Motor Vehicle report. The complainant advised his Toshiba laptop personal computer was taken from his motor vehicle without his consent. The theft was estimated at $1,500 USD. Case is pending investigation.

On 07/18/2011, an Officer was dispatched within the 1000 block of Fulton Avenue for a Burglary from Residence report. The complainant advised his two Stihl concrete saws were taken from his garage without his consent. The theft was estimated at approximately $3,000 USD. Case is pending investigation.

On 07/19/2011, an Officer was dispatched within the 700 block of South Park Avenue for a Burglary from Motor Vehicle Report. The complaint advised he left his motor vehicle unlocked and unattended and observed his XM Radio Receiver and Navsco GPS unit was removed from his motor vehicle without his consent.. The theft was estimated at approximately $380.00 USD. Case is pending investigation.

Hit and Run:

On 07/16/2011, Officers were dispatched within the 200 block of Holdridge Avenue for a report of a hit and run. Upon the Officers arrival; they observed two mailboxes were damaged by a white vehicle. Pending Investigation.
