September 6, 2011: Arrest Notices 9/1/11 - 9/4/11

Traffic Arrest(s):

On 09/01/2011, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 800 block of Lewis Avenue for speeding. The driver, Jose F. Murrieta-Ochoa, 33, of Kenosha was subsequently taken into custody after the Officer confirmed he didn't have a valid driver's license. Murrieta-Ochoa was issued citations for Speeding and No Valid Driver's License. Murrieta-Ochoa was released on scene by his signature by his signature pending a further branch court date.

On 09/02/2011, an Officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of 9th Street and West Broadway Avenue for having only one headlight illuminated. The driver, Tabatha Watler, 22, of Winthrop Harbor was subsequently taken into custody after the Officer confirmed her driver's license was suspended from the state of Florida. Watler was issued citations for Improper Lighting and Driving While License Suspended. Watler was later released by her signature pending a further branch court date.

On 09/04/2011, an Officer was dispatched near the intersection of 9th Street and Sheridan Road for a possible intoxicated driver. The driver, Pablo Leguizamo-Rea, 40, of Round Lake Beach was subsequently taken into custody after the Officer verified his driver's license was revoked. Leguizamo-Rea was issued a citation for Driving While License Revoked. Leguizamo-Rea was later released by his signature pending a future branch court date.

On 09/04/2011, an Officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of 9th Street and Sheridan Road for a lane violation. The driver, Omar Garcia, 27, of Zion was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests. Garcia was issued citations for Improper Lane Usage, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over 0.08. Garcia was later released by his signature pending a future court date.

Criminal Damage to Property

On 09/03/2011, an Officer was dispatched within the 800 block of Franklin Avenue for a Criminal Damage to Property report. The complaint advised some unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry to her motor vehicle and left pry marks near the side door.
