On 01/10/2013, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 1200 block of Sheridan Road for Speeding. The driver, Lyle W. Petrusak, 26, of Zion was subsequently taken custody after the Officer confirmed he had a revoked Illinois Driver's License. Petrusak was issued citations for Speeding and Driving While License Revoked. Petrusak was later released by a notice to appear pending a future branch court date.
On 01/11/2013, an Officer
stopped a vehicle within the 900 block of Sheridan Road for not
having a front registration plate displayed on the motor vehicle.
The driver, Tonya L. Grasty, 23, of Waukegan was subsequently
taken into custody the Officer confirmed her Illinois Driver's
License had been suspended. Grasty was issued a verbal warning
for a registration violation. Grasty was issued citations for
Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Driving While License
Suspended. Grasty was later released by a Notice to Appear
pending a future branch court date.
On 01/11/2013, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 100 block of Lewis Avenue for an equipment violation. The driver, Christopher S. Pritchett, 24, of Waukegan was subsequently taken into custody after learning his driver's license had been suspended. Pritchett was issued citations for Driving While License Suspended. Pritchett was released on scene by a notice to appear pending a future court date.
On 01/14/2013, an Officer stopped a vehicle within the 300 block of Sheridan Road for speeding. The driver, John E. Shull, 50, of Kenosha, Wisconsin was subsequently taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests. Shull was issued citations for Speeding and Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Shull was later transported to the Lake County Jail pending a bond hearing.
Criminal Damage to Property:
On 01/08/2013, an Officer
was dispatched to North Prairie Middle School, 500 North Avenue,
related to a Criminal Damage to Property Report. The complainant
advised some unknown(s) person threw a rock to the northwestern
entry door which caused the glass to the door to shatter. This
incident is pending further investigation.
