The Village of Winthrop Harbor
is structured with a Trustee-President form of government, with
the Board of Trustees
being the Legislative Department of the Village. The Board of
Trustees consists of six Trustees and the President (also referred
to as "Mayor"), all of whom are elected to four-year
terms of office.
The Board of Trustees regularly
meets at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month.
Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building,
830 Sheridan Road (Northwest corner of the 9th Street & Sheridan
Road intersection). All meetings are open to the public and include
a public comment period during which residents may address the
Board.

Village Board meetings are televised
on AT&T Cable on the following days each week:
- Wednesday at 8:00 am and 10:00
pm
- Thursday at 12:00 noon
- Saturday at 9:00 am
