from your primary phone number.
Message Types:
Outreach messages are non-urgent messages providing important
information to our residents and/or businesses. They are sent
to the primary phone number only, and not to secondary
or alternate phone numbers in the database. Outreach messages
may also be sent via e-mail and/or SMS/text message, in addition
to the recorded voice message.
Priority messages contain information of a more urgent
nature. They are sent to the primary, secondary and alternate
phone numbers in the database. Priority messages will also be
sent via e-mail and SMS/text message.
Survey
messages include an interactive feature which allows the Village
to pose a question to our residents and/or businesses, and the
recipient responds using the telephone keypad. Survey messages
are sent only to the primary phone number.

Residents and businesses in Winthrop Harbor
may add secondary and alternate phone numbers to their listing
in the database, as well as up to two e-mail addresses and a
phone number for receiving SMS messages. Hearing impaired persons
may designate any of their numbers as a TTY number. For more
