Personnel The Winthrop Harbor Fire Department is fortunate to have a staff of highly motivated individuals, each dedicated to providing the residents of Winthrop Harbor and our Fire District with the highest quality of emergency services. Chief Levin and the Command Staff are committed to serving the public 24/7 through innovative and professional fire and emergency medical services. Each of our Firefighters, Engineers and EMT's are highly trained and certified, and continue to pursue ongoing training at every opportunity. While we feel that all of our personnel are top-notch in their skills and dedication, each year one is recognized with our Fire Fighter of the Year award.
